Solvi is our home built sail and oar boat called a Faering. We will be leaving August 15th to take her down the Mississippi River and then coastal hopping to Florida. Follow our blog to stay up to date on the adventure!

I read about you in Star Tribune on a flight back to my home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, not too far from the river town of Cape Girardeau. What an interesting adventure! My girlfriend and I would love to buy you a beer and a meal in person if it can be worked out!

We met you on the river on Sunday at the beach above lock and dam 16. Shared some beers, ice and chicken. Really love your sense of adventure and dedication to the boat build. Safe journey. Stay strong and keep ahead of the cold.

Congratulations Kyle and Danielle this is an amazing feat I always remember your love for boats when we’re kids.
